Who we are.

SciEngine is a spin-off of the Institute of Applied Mechanics at the University of Stuttgart.
It has been founded by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h. c. Wolfgang Ehlers and Dr.-Ing. Maik Schenke.

Wolfgang Ehlers is a civil engineer with deep knowledge in continuum mechanics, material theory and porous-media modelling.  He contributes to SciEngine with his comprehensive expertise.

Maik Schenke is an aerospace engineer with a MSc degree in computational mechanics. He contributes to SciEngine through his strong background in numerical methods and simulation theories.
